Autograph letter signed from Madame Rackett, Spettisbury near Blandford Dorset, to Mrs. Garrick [manuscript], 1793 August 9.

Mr. Rackett Sr. has returned. The garden was in great disorder when they returned into the country, but neighbours have supplied them with fruit. Many amusements at Blandford: races, balls, and concerts. She has gotten the most pleasure from a capital set of strolling players. One female in particular was greatly admired and her vivacity exceeds even Mrs. Jordan. Invites her to visit them.
